School Development & Self Evaluation

The School’s Development Plan (SDP) is a strategic document drawn up each year by the Senior Leadership Team and Governors.  This document establishes the direction of the school for the forthcoming academic year.  It is a plan for improvement based on the key areas of Pupils’ outcomes; Teaching, Learning and Assessment; Personal Development (including pupils’ Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural development and Safeguarding); Leadership and Management and Overall Effectiveness.  A range of evidence and sources support this plan, including the voice of pupils, parents and staff through questionnaires, together with the professional support of the School Improvement Partner to ensure our vision reflects best practice both locally and nationally.  This strategic document is shared with all staff, and is monitored and reviewed termly.

The School’s Self Evaluation Form (SEF) is compiled throughout the year, and provides a written evaluation of ourselves as a school in order to establish our whole school priorities for the next academic year.
