The children and staff of Thomas Johnson Lower School are looking for a new teacher to join our team in September 2024 and cover leadership and ECT release time.

You must have a warm and smiling face that makes children feel special.

You have to laugh at jokes that don’t necessarily make sense or that are not funny.

You must be prepared to get ‘stuck in’ and have lots of fun every day.

You must be prepared to feel important, special and loved by many young children and their families.

😀My name is Simon Bolger – and I have been the Headteacher of TJLS since September 2022.

🌳There is no school quite like TJLS. We have a beautiful rural setting and we want our school to be the beating heart of this wonderful village.

💕We might be small – but we are mighty. The staff team here genuinely love and care for the children – and like them – I am proud to work at TJLS.

👍We have achieved so much in the past few years and we intend to go from strength to strength. I’m looking for a teacher who wants to grow their own ability, inspire our children and have the freedom to show off their passion for learning in school.
